About Mishap Solutions
Eric Mishefske formed Mishap Solutions with the intention of giving his daughters a better life. Eric and his wife, Melissa Mishefske, who was attending college, working nights at the hospital, and being a mother full-time, were extremely overwhelmed and felt they had no time for what was truly important, their daughters. Having taken this major step, Eric can now take his girls to and from school and spend every weekend and holiday making memories.
Eric has been involved in the trades for over 11 years prior to the formation of Mishap Solutions. He started his career in a program called Youth Build where he learned the basic principles of home restoration. He then started a new path towards high-end home remodeling, focusing primarily on single-family homes, learning the importance of perfection. Wanting a change, he pursued plumbing. After becoming a 1-year apprentice he soon realized that was not his passion. Eric then truly found his niche in historical restoration; this gave him years of experience to perfect his craft.
In-between all of this, he has earned rewards for his past companies and acquired certifications through multiple organizations. He has volunteered in several programs dedicated to teaching the trades to students and helping to build the community, all while being a full-time father to two beautiful girls, his most important job.
What We Stand Behind
While the large construction entities will brag about their volume of work, most are just passing all the work off to subcontractors for a quick paycheck. Fortunately, we at Mishap Solutions proudly stand behind our work; restoration is our passion. Large or small, Mishap Solutions will deliver nothing but perfection. We like to think we are helping to put the world back together, one house at a time. Quality is not an act; it is our habit.
